Recycling

dedusting

DDL Recycling systems recover and reuse the EPS production scraps by reintroducing them into the production process.

The system is designed in 3 stages, which operate non-stop: grinding, mixing, dedusting.

The grinding unit is equipped with a dual-shaft knife system, where each shaft is driven by a three-phase motor.

The unit is equipped with sieves enabling the size of the ground material to be selected; the standard configuration includes a sieve with 20 mm holes.

The ground material is conveyed to the silo by a fan.

System output capacity ranges from 10 to 30 m³/h.

The recovered material can be mixed with raw material or used for specific purposes, such as mixing with concrete.

The mixing units comprise two silos and two sector valves.

Electronic rotational speed control ensures precise mixing, based on the percentage set by the operator.

A fan conveys the mixed material to the pre-loading silo of the Block Mould, thereby ensuring a continuous feed.

The dedusting unit separates the dust from the ground EPS material. A motor-driven bristle auger conveys the material inside a perforated cylinder equipped with suction system.

The dedusted expanded polystyrene is conveyed to a silo by a fan, while the dust is collected by a dedicated bag filter.
