DDL CNC  Shape Cutting Machines are designed for contour cutting from EPS blocks. They enable complex shapes and special components to be created thanks to the precision of the system and reliability of its movements.

The dimensions and specifications of the Shape Cutting Machine can be customized to suit the customer’s production and application requirements.

The machine functions on two axes and its operating principle is based on the simultaneous movement of:

  • a conveyor belt, which moves the blocks horizontally;
  • a wire frame, which performs the vertical cutting movement.

Both movements are driven by brushless servomotors, which ensure precise position control and smooth operation.

Reduced mechanical backlash enables both the wire frame and block to be positioned with high precision.

The cutting system uses 0.25 mm diameter wires, which are heated and controlled by a dedicated electronic system ensuring constant wire tension throughout the cutting cycle.

This method contributes to the quality of the cut and the stability of the process.

The cutting profiles are designed and programmed using the PC installed on the machine, allowing for direct and flexible control of the processing operations.
