The Post-processing Line handles the processes the XPS board undergoes after extrusion, which include creation of the tongue joint<\/strong> and final shaping<\/strong> of the product.<\/p>

The Puller<\/strong> is available in a standard configuration with rollers or with vacuum technology developed by DDL<\/strong>, designed to reduce compression on the tongue when the board is handled.<\/p>

The Roughing station<\/strong> allows milling widths of up to 200 mm<\/strong> to be obtained, thereby preparing the board for the next processes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Flying knife is a single-blade cutting system driven by linear motors<\/strong>.<\/p>

The carriage<\/strong> is made of aluminium<\/strong> to reduce the moving weights and is equipped with a V-shaped blade that can cut in both directions<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Paternoster system is available in various configurations, tailored to the requirements of the production line.<\/p>

It can be used to cool the boards<\/strong>, to reverse the direction of the line<\/strong> or to compensate for differences in height<\/strong> between the various sections of the system.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Planer and Groover system allows for fine adjustment of XPS board thickness<\/strong>. The processing parameters are automatically adjusted to suit production requirements, ensuring dimensional accuracy and process repeatability.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Thermobonding system is designed to weld the boards together<\/strong> by applying controlled heat, in accordance with the product and process specifications. DDL has been a pioneer in applying this technology to XPS<\/strong>.<\/p>
